An international expert conference with a focus on 5G Security and Emerging and Disruptive Technologies was held from November 30 to December 1, 2021, in a fully virtual format. The conference was organized by the National Cyber and Information Security Agency under the auspices of Prime Minister of the Czech Republic and in cooperation with Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Dozens of experts on 5G networks and cyber security from the EU, NATO states, as well as other countries attended and actively participated in the conference.

The Prague 5G Security Conference was introduced by Miloš Vystrčil, President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Karel Řehka, Director of the National Cyber and Information Security Agency, as well as by Karen Andrews, Minister for Home Affairs of Australia, Mircea Geoană, Deputy Secretary General of NATO, Yoaz Hendel, Minister of Communications of Israel and Julia Lopez, Minister of State at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport of the UK. The conference aims to foster and streamline strategic thinking on various aspects of 5G and future generations of networks security for ongoing and future deployment of emerging and disruptive technologies (EDTs).
